15-day Bengali food festival at The Peninsula Chittagong

Chittagong : The Peninsula Chittagong is known for its unique events. In an attempt to provide sanctuary for the food lovers, The Peninsula Chittagong initiated a gala traditional Bengali buffet on the occasion of the Bengali New Year. With creative ideas as such for a splendid Bengali New year, Mustafa Tahseen Arshad, Managing Director and Mushtaq Luhar, General Manager inaugurated the festive season of Boishakh and "Bengali Food Festival."

In an honor of keeping the legacy of Bengali traditions, the hotel endeavours to serve authentic Bengali cuisine and wants to create a mini Bengali festivity for the people of Chittagong city.

As people in the city are already in a merrymaking mood because of Boishakh, The Peninsula Chittagong is holding a fifteen-day Bengali Food Festival which started on April 15 and will continue till April 30 along with a wide spread of traditional Bengali food and a scrumptious variety of Continental food. This "Buy 1 Get 1" promotion would be for both lunch and dinner for the food lovers.

The food festival will be a treat for the food connoisseurs who will be able to experience an authentic Bengali spread. The Bengali food extravaganza would include few traditional and savoury items such as various types of bhorta, fish, Different types of akhni biryani and khichdi, beef kala vuna, chicken roast, curry, etc. only at Tk 2371++ Buy 1 get 1 free! It would be such as a mini carnival for fifteen days long at Laguna Restaurant (Level 5) of The Peninsula Chittagong.
