Dhaka: The largest private carrier of Bangladesh US-Bangla Airlines has announced to resume daily flights to Chennai, India from October 28.
The announcement came after both the country's confirmed finalising an air bubble agreement recently following almost an eight month long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
US-Bangla's flight (BS205) from Dhaka will depart HSIA at 10:30 am and arrive in Chennai at 12:40 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays while the return flight (BS206) will depart Chennai at 01:30 pm and land in Dhaka at 04:40 pm on the same days.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, the carrier will operate flights to Chennai from Chattogram. The flight (BS205) from Chattogram will depart at 09:00 am and land in Chennai at 09:50 am while the return flight (BS205) from Chennai will depart at 10:30 am and reach Dhaka at 12:40 pm.
US-Bangla Airlines has a total of 13 aircraft, including six brand new ATR 72-600s, three Dash 8-Q400s and four Boeing 737-800s. Currently, the carrier is operating flights to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Muscat and Guangzhou in its international network while serving Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Barishal within the country.
