Gets new CEO-MD, another bureaucrat

Dr Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal, a bureaucrat, has been appointed the new Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
The Ministry of Public Administration on February 23 issued gazette notification in this regard.
With this change, the government followed its policy of frequent change and faith on bureaucrat to run highly specialised operation of troubled national flag carrier-Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.                                  aviation news bd
Outgoing Biman MD and CEO Mokabbir Hossain, on promotion has been made Chairman (secretary) of Land Appeal Board at Land Ministry.                            aviation news bd
Mokabbir Hossain, then additional secretary of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry was made MD and CEO of the national flag carrier, only little over a year ago in September 2019.
