NHTTI holds non-alcoholic beverage competition for its students

Dhaka: National Hospitality and Tourism Training Institute of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation on International Chefs Day launched the country's first short-training on preparing non-alcoholic beverages. After the completion of the course, on November 7, a beverage competition among 70 students of NHTTI was held at the institute premise.

Participants at the competition prepared and displayed various hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages which we are served at several high-end restaurants and hotels.

Certificates and medals to the 'Best performers' were handed over at the end of the competition when the winners were announced.

Jaheda Begum, Head of Department, F&B Production of NHTTI carried out the training session successfully with the support from the authority of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, said the institute in a statement.

Etcetera Bangladesh Pvt Ltd was the logistics partner, Event Express was the catering partner and the premier travel publication The Bangladesh Monitor was the media partner of the competition.
